It is unclear the exact moment we became friends 20 years ago. It was probably over a clam chowder bread bowl in the school cafeteria. After years of planning events, hosting many holidays and exchanging recipes, here we are bringing our passions to life, embarking on a food venture together.
First and foremost we are grounded in family. Bay Area born and bred, we come from close-knit tribes where food is central to our experiences, from entertaining to travel. It moves us.
The dishes we grew up eating were never documented and so Family Table was born from the concept of recreating and capturing those cherished recipes for generations to come. The recipes we’ve decided to share vary from our personal archives to ones we’ve discovered and tweaked through our trials in the kitchen. They honor tradition while seasoned with a modern twist.
Family is the fabric of our life
Cooking has no creative limits
Meals are better with company
From our kitchen to yours, we hope you’re inspired to get cookin!
